Motivational Stories – Loes Knetsch

Hello Michelle, thank you for asking me to answer a few questions for an interview on your website.  I am Loes Knetsch, I live in the Netherlands. Happily married. A mum of 4 daughters and 2 sons (5 adults already)and granny of 3 (4th due in February) Running a daycare at my home.(5 boys in the age of 5-11)

2/How did you get involved with WA and how long have you been with WA?

Since July 15, 2014, I am a member of Wealthy Affiliate. I found them while I was looking for an affordable education for website development. Nathaniëll Brenes offered 2 free websites, free hosting and 10 free lessons, and I thought “I am not going to pay a dime before I earn something there” Well, it did run a little bit different than expected, I saw the course, and the price, and it sold itself to me, my second day in, and I upgraded to premium member. Eversince, I haven’t missed one day “at school”

3/How long before you felt comfortable enough to call your efforts a success i.e. how is your website doing now, your business idea, how long did it take in terms of months?

I started the certification course with my first website, (I have 7 now)thisiskidsart.com, where I display all the kids art made through my daycare kids and my grandchildren. After that I started workathomefuture.com and eigensitemaken.siterubix.com, two equal training websites in different languages. I guess I get bored easily 😉 Because I began with adding the hobby of my husband, photography, on freeimages.siterubix.com.

In 2005 I wrote some booklets for children which ended up on my 5th website kleurboekjes.com and definitely my pride!

I did enjoy the course here very much, but in the beginning of this year, I realized, I never had focused on making some money here. So since February 2016 I created your.siterubix.com my WA Bootcamp website and in August 2016 I started a real niche website aloesvera.siterubix.com to promote healthy super food.

4/What would you consider the best ‘selling point’ for WA – community, classroom courses, hosting, website services on a whole, support, software designs, pricing-value for money?

Definitely the course, the knowledge library is unprecedented

5/Do you think that anyone can do what you have done using the WA platform and would you recommend it?

Haha, yes! I started from scratch, with so little computer knowledge, I didn’t even know how to make a screenshot. I can not drag people in by their hairs, but it sure feels that way. I know for sure, I will never leave WA, I am here till death do us part;)
