Are you focusing on your employees the way that you should be? Instead of looking at them with a negative lens, have you ever tried thinking about what you can do to aid them? Have you ever thought about what you could be doing to improve the way that they work? Not a lot of bosses do, and therein lies the problem.

Investing In Them
Have you ever taken the time to think that maybe you should be investing in your employees? Invest in them by providing them with training that they need to advance their careers, rather than just assuming they will pick new things up along the way as they work. Take the time to sit down with them, look at their strengths and weaknesses, help them to improve on their weak points and so on.
The more time and energy that you put into your employees, the better your relationship with them will be. Building these strong connections with your employees is essential, so make the time to do it.
Building A Strong Team
You want to work on building a strong team, which means that you have got to put the effort in for everyone to interact and get along. This isn’t always going to be easy, but you should be doing things like throwing events for your employees to mingle at, getting some fantastic party catering so that your employees can see that you are putting the effort in and so much more. Plan trust exercises for your employees and yourself to take part in, and generally do what you can to build the strongest team possible.
Working With Them
They may be your employees, but they do a lot of the heavy lifting of the business, and you need to appreciate that. We understand that you are busy, but this does not mean that you shouldn’t be looking to help your employees where they need it. Of course, you’re not going to be available all the time, and there are things that you simply aren’t going to be able to do, but this does not mean that you can’t try to make time.
If they see you working with them, this will go a long way to boosting and improving the relationship that you have.
