When it comes to how you work, always make sure that you hold yourself to high standards, even when you’re in the process of looking for work. Ensure that your resume and cover letter are both perfectly written and presented and are 100% error free.

If you don’t feel confident proofreading your resume yourself, consider asking a friend or relative to do it for you. It’s important never to rush tasks and ensure that whatever you are doing, you always hold yourself accountable.
