Daily Quote # 93
‘For many men, the acquisition of wealth does not end their troubles, it only changes them.’
– Seneca
As the saying goes: more money, more bills!
I am sure that we all think about having more wealth at some point in our lives – I know I do. One thing I wonder about is this – when the wealth arrives, will it also mean new bills or the end of all my bills? Will it mean an easier path to living and acquiring things or will it mean more things and more issues to maintain them? I suspect that in the long haul, wealth is simply a means of acquisition, giving you options to have the things you desire but not necessarily keeping you out of ‘troubles’ reach. You have to still be responsible for your life and the way you choose to live it – before and after the wealth. Food for thought.
