Truth be told – I love my daughter!
I live and breathe each day for her love. And unconditionally, I do my best to ensure that the things I impart to her are value-based. I know that sometimes it seems that when we raise our children, it seems like we keep repeating ourselves, but know that all is not lost because things will stick.
I remember once listening to my daughter talk with her barbie dolls while she was alone in her room – she was telling them exactly the things that I had once said to her -almost verbatim! It made me smile and also reinforced the fact that children do listen, even though it might not always seem that way!
Remember, you get one chance to raise a child and remember that they choose you as their role model, silently.
