Laying the foundation and building on it – physically, emotionally or rhetorically, can take and will take time. What is also true, is the fact that all one can and does strive for, can also be reduced to ashes or smithereens in just a few seconds – by a selfish thought, a vicious physical assault or even a demolition attack. In essence, I believe that Mr. Churchill was simply asking us to be mindful. It is in choosing mindfulness, that less hurt will be created. Are you being mindful today?
