With millions of users, a range of platforms to share from, and all the different types of content and strategies out there, where do you even begin?

This is tantamount to creating an influence when it comes to any business marketing their brand. Sales content is okay to use on social media, but make sure you predominantly share helpful and informative content that teaches your audience something first, and drip feeds your sales content into it where relevant.

When you make your plan in the strategy stages, this needs to be realistic, and one that you can stick to, to ensure consistency.

There is no point in planning to post twice per day if you cannot keep up with it. If that is too much, then you can still grow with fewer posts, for example, three per week, as long as you stay consistent with the days and times every single week.

With consistency, over a long period, you will see significant growth on your social media account.

#4 Keep on top of what is trending

Keeping on top of the current social media trends are, for example, TikTok challenges will help you grow exponentially on social media. This is because, with a trend, you are increasing your chances of going viral and reaching more customers, and even users that you wouldn’t have expected to.

Trends are one of the quickest ways to grow your account, and also show a fun, human side of your business to the users of social media, which can help build trust and connection. Once you have grown your account well, you can even start your own challenges that get users involved.

It is important to remember that trends happen extremely quickly, and should be used in addition to your main social media strategy.
